Nearly every week at Trinity, we, as the body of Christ, are CALLED to serve each other,
whether it is by providing lunch to family & friends after a funeral, assisting with annual
(Rhubarb Festival and Bazaar/Meatball Dinner), or simply serving coffee at an
occasional conference or meeting held in our church building.

Members of the Trinity Family are asked to give of their time and talents,
just as we do within our own families. As a Trinity member,
you are automatically assigned to one of the eight Service Work Groups.
A group will serve every 8th funeral at Trinity plus one other designated
event during the year. Please be willing “to serve”
when called upon by the Co-Chairs of your group.

We are incredibly grateful for all who serve when they can,
provide food when they are able, or say, “Please call me next time.”
It is our sincere hope that everyone will respond joyfully when
called upon to assist in providing Trinity Hospitality!

Lent begins March 1st
In our Lutheran tradition, conversations about God were enhanced by simply being
at table with other people. Wednesday midweek services will center around the
“gems” of Martin Luther’s writings. We will worship together and, instead of a
sermon, Pr. Isaacson will facilitate a conversation among two other community
members as we explore these concepts as to their importance and relevance
for Christians today.
Please join us for fellowship and worship this Lenten season
as we prepare our hearts for the coming of the risen Christ

Ash Wednesday, March 1
Wednesday Evening Worship at 6:30 p.m.

Why ashes? On Ash Wednesday many pastors dip a finger or thumb in black ashes
and make the form of a cross on the foreheads of worshipers.
Many Christians keep the symbol on their head for the entire day.
It is a reminder of one’s sorrow for one’s sins. It is a sign of humility and the need for forgiveness.
Also, the cross on the forehead reminds us of the death of Christ for the forgiveness of our sins.

Please join us each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
during Lent for supper and fellowship
