Volunteer Opportunities

Trinity Volunteer Opportunities

With the approval of the 2016 budget came some changes to our staffing.  We are moving to a shared associate pastor with First Presbyterian Church in Crookston.  We are also eliminating the paid Receptionist and Financial Secretary positions.  This opens up some opportunities for people to volunteer as we transition into a new staffing configuration which calls on more volunteers to assist in the total ministry of Trinity Church.  Listed below are some volunteer openings we are hoping to fill as we live into a new reality that has us working together as staff and volunteers.

Tuesday morning receptionist:
answer phones, greet people, take messages, other work as available

Wednesday morning receptionist:
answer phones, greet people, take messages, other work as available

Thursday morning receptionist:
answer phones, greet people, take messages, other work as available

        On-Call receptionist:
for anticipated and emergency absences

Web page and Facebook:
weekly maintenance for internet information

  Sound Board Technician:
shared with a team to provide audio services for worship
and other events
                      Multi-Media Technician:
shared with a team to provide broadcast and projection services for worship and other events

This new staffing structure may result, on occasion, with there being only one staff person or volunteer in the church building.  For security purposes the east parking lot doors may be locked but a portable door bell will be available to ring into the office to let someone in.  If you have a need to stop in the office, please call ahead to ensure someone is there. Phone calls will be answered as staff are available.  Phone messages will be retrieved and returned at earliest possible time.  Pastoral emergencies can call the emergency phone number (218.280.3588)
or follow the voice prompts on the office phone.
We appreciate your patience as we work through this time
of transition at Trinity Church.
